No, the Dental carrier has been specially designed to clean both the internal and external surfaces of the device and the internal lumens are protected by means of a filter system to ensure no debris can enter the internal surfaces. Regular cleaning of the handpice has been proven to extend the life of the device and also reduce expensive maintenance bills

The Dawmed Clinic uses a specially formulated detergent designed to be most effective at the temperature and wash-cycle duration of the machine. This has been tested and certified as part of the standards compliance testing of the machine. There is no guarantee that alternative fluids will be as effective.
