Flexible Load Carriers

Standard and Dental Handpiece carriers

Dawmed offer a range of load carriers for various applications. The standard and dental load carriers ensure that any combination of instruments and dental handpieces can be correctly cleaned.

The standard carrier with three double-ended wash arms provides the facility for washing instrument trays with instruments on two levels for between 4-8 instrument sets. This unique configuration of wash arms ensures that the load is cleaned from above and below providing unparalleled decontamination performance.

The Dental carrier has been designed and tested in conjunction with leading Handpiece manufacturers. Up to six handpieces are held vertically in the load carrier to ensure that all residual water is drained prior to sterilisation and packaging. A filter system has been developed to protect the lumens from potential debris thereby increasing the longevity of the handpieces. Independent testing has verified that the internal lumens of the handpiece are disinfected.

Specialist carriers can be provided for other medical equipment to ensure instruments are held in the position which best ensures total cleaning of all surfaces (and internal surfaces). The cleaning fluid may be distributed from up to three double-ended wash arms, up to six powerful directional jets and directed through hollow instruments as seen on the dental handpiece carrier.

Note: The standards require that during the process the load, load carrier and the chamber are totally cleaned and disinfected which must be supported by testing.

Unique pass through design

Allows clean instruments to be unloaded in a clean environment - maintaining the integrity of the disinfection and sterilisation process.

The double door 'Clinic' has been designed for zoning applications and can be used in either 'through the wall' situations in common with SSDs in hospitals or can be placed sideways on the bench to create a natural workflow from dirty to clean.
