Safety Features

Tray to chair

The 'Clinic's unique design uses a standard instrument tray as its 'wash basket' which ensures the minimum of contact between the contaminated instruments and the user. There is no decanting of the instruments into separate containers and the 'dry' instruments can be placed directly into the steriliser using the same trays.

Dry instruments

To eliminate handling and thereby the potential re-contamination of the instruments prior to sterilisation the 'Clinic' dries the instruments as part of its process.

One touch operation

one standard programme, operated at the touch of a button To ensure that the instruments are processed correctly the 'Clinic' has been designed with only one 1 standard programme which is operated by one touch of the green button. An led display clearly informs the user of the product stages and displays complete at the end of each cycle including an audible alarm.

Integral detergent cartridge

one standard programme, operated at the touch of a button Dawmed have designed the 'Clinic' with a unique integral detergent cartridge that automatically dispenses the correct volume of detergent for each cycle. The detergent has been specially formulated to provide the maximum cleaning efficiency. A single cartridge will be sufficient to run 33 cycles and process up to 264 instrument sets. If there is insufficient detergent remaining in the cartridge the 'Clinic' will notify the user with both audible and visual signals and will not allow a cleaning cycle to start.

The 'Clinic' will not operate a cycle without detergent. This is an absolute requirement of all regulatory standards.
